This reading on feminism was much different that the previous readings. It was focused more on the development of each gender and how they are shaped from childhood, rather than the issue of feminism in general and how women are treated compared to the way men are treated. As she says in her reading, women are raised in a way to depend on a man, and without him they feel as if they are incomplete. Which I believe is incorrect there are a lot of women out there that live their life without a man, its not that we cant live without a man in our life, but it does make it much easier and enjoyable to have a man around, having two people run a house hold is better than having only one. I believe that men need us women just as much as we need them. A man just seems more powerful than a woman because of society has turned him into. But in reality man is no better than woman. They are just as human as we are, they don’t have magical powers that women haven’t developed. She also talks about rules in this reading and how as children boys and girls treat these rules in a different manner. Boys usually will fight over the rules they think must be followed, wile girls on the other hand will change the rules to make them their own. The way I see it is this just means that girls like to make peace not war.
