Beauvoir
I really enjoyed this reading it had a strong point and in message that can be interpreted in many ways. An eternal feminist is a woman that is unique and different from man she is mysterious to them and not very likely understood by society. She is a women that do differently and acts differently from the women of society. But Beauvoir does not agree with this myth and does not believe that a woman is the way she is because of the way she was born or raised. A woman is the way she is because of what society has made her into, most women take the role of the women that is perceived in society. The myth has made some very bad perceptions of women it makes it either for a man to misjudge and mistreat a woman because he does not understand him and this confusion leads to her dissatisfaction. It is her fault that the man can not understand her and she is punished for that. That is very wrong because then all men feel like they can treat a woman in any way they want to because society is saying that they cant be understood, and so a man will control the women because that is what society has allowed him to do. Society as Beauvoir sees it has been the main cause of the separation between a man and a woman and wants to show the world that it is wrong to do that, women should be equally treated to man in every aspect of life.

You did a good job reviewing the reading. I agree that society is part of the blame of the way men look at women. the society has a way of swaying how people perceive different things.
I agree with you and Beauvoir, that society has created the myth of the eternal feminine, and that she does not agree with it. Nor do I... I believe the rest of the world does, otherwise issues, even still today, would be more fair between men and women. Nice job with your blog.
